For today, I am calm and content. I’m focused on reserving my peace and happiness. Things will happen. Uncomfortable situations may occur. I can choose how I react to it all and my reaction will make the difference to how I get through it.

I am not willing to compromise my values or contentment for those who do not matter. This is my life to make it what I want and I deserve a good life. I don’t deserve anyone who wants to come along and manipulate, use, or lie to me. I have no place in my life for fakeness.

I know no matter what may happen, I can focus on me, my breathing, and what matters most to me and brings me joy and ground myself. I don’t have to give any part of myself to anything that doesn’t serve a greater purpose in my life or help to restore my balance and heal my soul. There will always be circumstances, people, difficulties, but I am capable of keeping calm and maintaining being content. I am me and you are you. Whatever you choose to do with your life, I hope it benefits you and helps you grow. I hope you find your own calm, peace and happiness.

Peace and Happiness

I think what we all want most in life is peace and happiness. With peace and happiness comes health and a greater wealth than money could ever buy. We deserve to heal from the things that have hurt us. It’s not wrong to want to move away from the chaos and toxicity of people who see nothing wrong with their actions. It’s understandable and normal. It’s common to want an apology for the wrongdoings of others, but that’s not always going to happen. Waiting for an apology that will never come robs us of peace and happiness.

If it’s possible, forgive those who have done you wrong. Not for them, but for yourself. It’s a step in allowing your mind, body, and soul to heal. The longer we hold on to the hope of that “I’m sorry” the more it is capable of hurting us and causing even more trauma. It’s okay to let go of the desire to hear the apology. It’s okay for you to move forward. I hope today you are able to find peace and happiness in your life, whatever that may look like for you.

Happiness Matters

You can have all the money in the world and still be a miserable person. Wealth shouldn’t be based on money, but on the things that make you happy. Like, love, beautiful days, doing something you love. When you put happiness over money, you’ll get to where you’re going.
